NASA – Lambda Technologies
Enhance human & robotic operations for a sustainable lunar presence.
Infrastructure vital for landing, habitation, and commercial Moon operations.
Build Critical Moon Infrastructure (landing pads, roads, habitation)
Mason Project
By using local materials to build infrastructure, this new technology would reduce the cost of sending construction materials to the Moon.
This technology will use a microwave emitter to heat and solidify regolith (lunar dust and crushed rock) to construct landing pads, roads, foundations, and dust mitigation surfaces.
The technology will be scalable to lunar rovers, vehicles, and robotic arms.
